IIPR has state of art facility including well equipped laboratory for plant biotechnology, transgenic containment facility, molecular breeding laboratory for marker assisted selection, soil testing laboratory, basic sciences and plant physiological studies of legumes to impart training to researchers, students and development personals. Every year the institute conducts number of training programmes in different discipline every year nearly a dozen training programmes are organized at the Institute for scientists and for farmers to grow pulses profitably.
